Our New Website is Here!
After months of hard work behind the scenes, we’re launching our new website!
We know our old site had been getting a little past its shelf life, with a few technical gremlins poking out from under the surface – the search function was a little more miss than hit, order update messages didn’t always work, and long-dormant products would re-appear by themselves. It was time for a fresh start.
Here are some of the things to look forward to on our new site:
Automatic Order Updates:
Our system will now update you every step of the way, with integration into the Shopify app to simplify payments and returns.
Search Functionality:
We’ve completely re-categorised all of our products, making them far easier to search. Typing in search terms or product codes will be much quicker, with helpful filters to make it easier to find what you need, or simply browse for ideas.
Stock Status:
Our stock status system will now display product locations far more clearly, with live in-store stock levels, and more accurate lead times. Pre-order options will be back soon.
New Payment Options:
Klarna and PayPal integration means we can offer you better finance packages across a wider range of products and price points.
Speed and Reliability:
Based on the modern Shopify platform, our new site should be far more reliable – fewer glitches, and far less potential for human error. Navigating the site will be much easier, particularly from mobile devices. The new checkout page will be much quicker, with auto-fill functions, address verification through Royal Mail, and a smoother payment process.
AI-Assisted Messaging (coming soon)
Don’t worry: the machines are not taking over – we’ll still be there to pick up the phone and answer all of your questions. However, if our new email assistant knows the answer, it’ll reply to basic queries while we’re out-of-hours, so you won’t have to wait until the next day to get answers for your stock queries or order tracking questions. That’ll give our team more time to offer advice, solve your technical problems, or just reminisce about the good old days when cycling shorts were itchy.
Going Forward
Please bear with us during the transition period, while we get to grips with a completely new way of working. All of your customer points, online credits and gift vouchers should transfer over to the new site. Returns and warranties will be a little more complex for us to handle during the transition, but the new site will make everything much more straightforward, going forward.
